Nursery Progress 3

Both of these are kind of hard to see, but the top picture is of some sconces we chose for the nursery. They are bright pink and they are suspended in a corner of the room. The chair we ordered will be under them when it comes in. The dresser is not in the exact right place yet (we are still figuring out furniture placement) but it is a very dark brown and even though they didn't come as a set we think it will match the crib well. We are so excited to be getting some things done! We will publish more as we get more done!

Nursery Progress 2

Here is the finished paint! We are so happy with the way it turned out! I just know it is going to look great with the furniture and accessories we pick out!

Nursery Progress

For the walls of our nursery we decided on two different shades of yellow. We did vertical stripes (about 12 in each). My friends Emily and Sari did worked together and as you can see it really was a lot of work! They said they had fun doing it and it turned out amazing! It only took them 2 days and neither Tim or I can believe how professional it looks! We are so lucky to have friends like this!

Ellasen Laine

Tim and I have decided on an official spelling for our little girl's name: Ellasen Laine. We will call her Ella for short! We are very excited! We will have more pictures up next week. Some of me and my ever growing belly and maybe even some of the nursery as a work in progress! We are hoping to have it painted by next Tuesday! Ella is kicking a lot now, and I can feel her almost all the time. Tim felt her kick for the first time on the 4th of July. She would kick after every firework! He was very excited! More soon!

Nursery!

Tim and I have finished our registries for our little girl (Babies R Us and Target) and this is a picture of the bedding we have chosen! The color is a very bright pink (almost a raspberry color) and we really like it. Even though the picture shows a white crib and green accents we have chosen a crib in an espresso finish and yellow accents. Since we decided not to use an entire collection to outfit our nursery, I have pieced together several items I think will go together in order to coordinate everything we need. That is why if you visit our registries you will see that we have chosen some different brands. We will just have to check the colors when things arrive to determine what will work! The good news is we have a Babies R Us and a Target here in town, and I can exchange anything that doesn't work at the store! The details may change as we get the nursery ready, but we are excited about the overall design concept and wanted to share it with all of you! Give us a little time and we will post pictures of our actual nursery as it is coming along!

It's A Girl!

We are so excited to announce that we are having a little girl! We do have a name picked out, but we are playing with some ways to spell it! As soon as we come to a final decision we will post it here on the blog!
