Monthly Update December

Aside from family Christmas activities this has been another busy month for our family! Tim and I attended his office Christmas party at the beginning of the month. We had a lot of fun!

We got family photos taken this month for our Christmas card. I think they turned out really well.

Ellasen has been taking Cheerleading at school all year, and on her last day we got to watch her routines. So cute!

Tim was nominated for Physician of the Year - Specialist by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. He was selected as a finalist so we got to go an awards ceremony and dinner. He didn't win, but we are so proud of him for making it so far!

Tim was also published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery last month. I forgot to include a picture in our November update though. We are so proud of him!

I have had a few girls nights this month. There was a dinner with all the girls from the neighborhood and a wine and cheese night with all the girls from my gym.

We also went to my gym Christmas party. One of the trainers, Andrea, snapped this picture of her and Ellasen playing!

We have taken the kids to the trampoline park a few times this month when it has been cold outside. They love it!

We have also done a lot of holiday baking and cookie decorating! Everly loves to eat the fruits of this labor...

Tim puts the twins to bed most nights that he is home. They always want to have snuggles before bed.

While Tim's mom was in town these two had fun in the kitchen!

The weather has been really mild. These pictures were taken the day after Christmas! It was over 70 degrees!

Tim and I went out for dinner and drinks with some friends on New Year's Eve. We had a great time!

Some silliness to round out the month...

Christmas 2015

What a great Christmas season! We have had so much fun celebrating the holidays this year. We decorated the house in early December, putting up our tree, hanging our stockings and putting lights outside.

The night we decorated Jennie, our Christmas Elf, showed up!

She has had some fun adventures at our house.

The girls got new Christmas PJs

Tim's parents joined us for Christmas this year! Ellasen loved baking and decorating cookies with Grandma!

On Christmas Eve Jennie, our elf, went back to the North Pole. She left us a little message for her last night.

On Christmas Eve we put out cookies and chocolate milk for Santa, and Ellasen read Twas the Night Before Christmas to everyone.

Then it was time for the elves to get to work...

Christmas morning was magical! The girls loved seeing all their gifts from Santa, and opening others from family. Stockings were a big hit too! Santa ate the cookies, drank the milk and even left a note!

Gunner even got a stocking! It was also his birthday!

There were yummy treats throughout the day too...

We hope your family had a wonderful Christmas this year too! Happy New Year!
