Monthly Update January

We have spent a lot of January just recovering from the holidays, taking down the Christmas tree and decorations, cleaning and winding down from company and getting back into the swing of the school year. It has really been a pretty quiet month.

Tim was named the team doctor for the professional lacrosse team here in Atlanta: The Georgia Swarm. This means he is busier than ever, but he is really excited to be the head doctor for a professional team. He will continue to be the doctor for the Gwinnett Braves as well as working for the Atlanta Braves. He leaves for spring training in just a couple of weeks!

I had a photo shoot months ago at my gym for some marketing material. My gym is a small community studio that relies heavily on member involvement. The flyer just came out to about 7,000 households around town. I wish the picture was a little more recent because I have continued to work on my health and weight, but it is still pretty cool!

I have a friend from residency who lost her 3rd son Jack just a few hours after he was born one year ago this month. The wonderful, amazing women that make up our lovely Ortho Wives Club organized a virtual run for Jack's birthday. We are all spread out across the country now, but our friendships remain a huge part of our lives. We all sent her photos of us in our matching t-shirts and special words of love and prayers. One friend even made a flip gram with all of our pictures set to Jack's song. I hope we always remain this close.

I got Tim tickets to see a play at the Fox Theater for Christmas so we had a really fun date night this month! We got dressed up, had yummy sushi and the play was amazing!

We have also been doing a Bachelor bracket with some friends. I make poor Tim watch it so at least this way it appeals to his competitive side and get s him a little more interested! Dinner is on the line, losing family buys...

Ellasen celebrated the 100th day of school this month! She had to make a shirt to wear with 100 things on it! Here she is working on it.

And here is the finished product!

Here is her whole cute little class with their 100 things shirts on.

While she was working on her shirt, the twins wanted to do stickers too. That is a theme these days...the little girls wanting to do what the big girl does!

Doing "homework"

The twins have also been trying regular cups. It has been funny and messy!

We actually had some snow!! Ellasen had a snow day and everything. It was actually really cold with a very strong wind so we didn't say outside for long, but it was fun!
Georgia Snow Angel

These three have been really cute together lately. It has been so fun to watch their relationships
develop.

Playing hide and seek

Papa's Chair...Can you tell Eden was there first?

I finally made it to the Trader Joe's which is too far to be our regular grocery store unfortunately, but I stock up on all our favorites whenever I go. The girls especially liked the mini ice cream cones this time despite the fact that it is January!

And a little more cuteness just because...
