Eden and Everly are 3 and 1/2!

Another six months has gone by, and these two seem to be growing up so fast! Despite having very different personalities they really are best friends. They play together very nicely most of the time. They love to play Barbies, Shopkins, color pictures, swim in our pool and listen to music. together They also love to pack little items in bags and carry them around. Ellasen has always done this even to this day so that is probably where they get it. They both love birds and still get excited when we see them every day. We recently turned their car seats to forward facing and they love to point things out as we drive in the car. The girls still take a nap at least a few times a week. The other days they have quiet time. Both girls are totally potty trained which is an awesome change in our lifestyle!

Eden is very comfortable with who she is. She is confident and outgoing. She likes to be the leader of play time but is getting better about sharing. She is developing her sense of empathy and noticing when she does things that upset others. She always tries to comfort people who are upset. She is very independent and sometimes has trouble with sudden transitions. She likes to be in charge of how she spends her time so sudden changes to the plan she has in her head can sometimes overwhelm her. Eden is never ever in a hurry. In fact, the bigger of a hurry I am in the slower she moves.  She will take advantage of people especially Everly if allowed. She is happy most of the time. She is still a picky eater. Her favorite foods are pasta, turkey sausage, mac and cheese, strawberries, crackers and yogurt.  She eats very messily and doesn't seem to notice or care. I have to fight her to let me do her hair and she almost always looks a little messy. She doesn't need very much sleep and is always the first to wake up in the morning. She loves to dance and sing. One of her favorite things to do is make up silly lyrics to her favorite songs. She is still in physical therapy to continue to strengthen her leg muscles. Eden always surprises us and keeps us on our toes. She weighs 30 lbs and is 37.5 inches tall.

Everly is usually the sweetest little girl. She doesn't love to be hungry or tired, but as long as she is fed and well rested she is very easy. She loves to be with me and always wants to know where I am. She is a little on the shy side, but she warms up quickly. She is starting to stand up for herself some, but for the most part, she just wants everyone to be happy and get along. She is pretty easy going about her time. As long as she is with me she doesn't really care what we are doing. She is a great eater and will eat pretty much anything. Her favorite foods are chicken, cheese and crackers, cinnamon rolls, quinoa, squash, carrots, pickles, rice, strawberries, and watermelon. She eats very neatly and always looks put together. She wears a headband almost every day and always wants her hair done. She needs lots of sleep and doesn't usually get enough because she shares a room with Eden. She loves to play games that Ellasen makes up and will copy anything Ellasen does or says. She has a tendency to get frustrated easily which sometimes results in tantrums. We are working on reminding her to use her words. She likes rules and always wants people to follow the rules. Her favorite things to play are doctor or beauty parlor. She loves to pretend to give me a check up or put makeup on me. She gives amazing hugs and always has a compliment for people. She weighs 31.5 lbs and is 38 inches tall.

The picture below pretty much perfectly sums up who these girls are in real life. We love them to the moon and back!
