December 2017

We had an amazing December! We had so much fun getting ready for Christmas, celebrating the twins 4th birthday and we even got some major winter weather to ring in the holiday season.

We started the month with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The girls got all dressed up and brought their lists. They climbed right up on Santa's sleigh, and they were in total awe of all the magic. It was precious.

Later that same day Tim and I went to the SEC Championship to watch our DAWGS take on Auburn and seal their place in the Rose Bowl. Our friends, Ashley and Nicole, came down for the game, and we had so much fun catching up. It was just like old times. We are hoping for a possible repeat for the National Championship. Go DAWGS!

Nicole, Lina and me 12 years ago!

We hosted Tim's staff Christmas party at Top Golf this month. We had a great time, but I was late so I didn't get a ton of pictures. We have done this the past couple of years and the staff seems to enjoy the night out!

Tim was nominated for the Gwinett Chamber of Commerce Heathcare Physician of the Year award. He didn't win, but he was honored to be nominated for the 3rd time!

Ellasen had her annual well child check and she's as healthy as a horse. She is in the 70th percentile for height and the 30th for weight. And she's cute as a button.

We had a major snowstorm this month! We saw more snow this month than Georgia has seen since 1993! It was amazing! The kids absolutely loved it. We spent so much time outside sledding down the hill on the golf course behind our house, making snow angels and snowmen. We were exceptionally unprepared for the wet snow, but we made due and the kids had a great time!

Even Gunner loved the snow!

We had a great time celebrating Eden and Everly's birthday this month! They had a princess makeover party with a bunch of their friends. They were so cute!
Even Jennie our elf was excited about the girls' party

Eden wanted chocolate cake and Everly wanted strawberry!

I got to go to the twins preschool on their birthday and deliver birthday treats and read a book to their class. Everly wanted cupcakes to share and Eden wanted M&M's to pass out. So cute!

Our friends, the Lauderman's, came back for a visit for the first time since they moved to California 6 months ago. The kids were so excited to have see their friends, and I was excited to have Abby join us for our monthly girls' night!

The girls all started dance lessons this month! They got a gift certificate from Aunt Di and Uncle David for lessons and they are really loving it! Eden and Everly are doing Itty Bitty Ballet and Ellasen is taking Hip Hop.

The twins had their annual Christmas pageant at preschool. They had been marching around the house practicing the songs for a few weeks. It was so cute to see them perform in person!

We have been having so much holiday fun this month! We made a gingerbread house, a gumdrop tree, and so many yummy and well-decorated cookies! We even took a trip to the botanical gardens to see all the holiday lights. The girls were absolutely amazed! Our elf Jennie got in on all the fun too!

Jennie brought the girls' their Christmas jammies!

Christmas morning was so much fun! Tim's mom, Carol was here and the girls loved having Grandma around. On Christmas Eve we put out reindeer food, laid out cookies and milk for Santa, and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". We had great surprises on Christmas morning, and the rest of the day was spent relaxing, cooking a wonderful meal and playing with our new gifts!

Tim and I went out with some friends on New Year's Eve. We had a lot of champagne, some great food, and so much fun!

We are so excited to see what 2018 brings for our family! 2017 was an absolutely amazing year for all of us and we are sure 2018 is going to be even better!
