January 2018

While it has felt like a busy month the pictures really don't support that! We just haven't done a ton of noteworthy things this month. The weather has been cold and we have really been in the swing of things with our activities and school. The girls are all still loving dance class.

The little girls had their well child check ups this month. They are both perfectly healthy, but they did have to get several vaccines this visit. It was awful! I had to hold them down while they screamed. I felt terrible! Anything to keep them healthy though!

The girls finally got their playground installed that Tim and I gave them for Christmas! They started playing on it right away!

We got it stained and had the whole area landscaped as well. It looks great!

Tim got to go watch the Georgia Bulldawgs play for the National Championship in Atlanta with our friend Ashely. They had a great time even though the Dawgs lost. We'll be back!!

I have been continuing all of my projects around the house too. In addition to the playground we had lots of light fixtures and faucets replaced. We also started work on our half bath and office. Here are some of the ideas we are working on.

I'll put the finished product in next month's post, but here is the design board!

Here is the basement living room before the refresh:

And after!

Our dishwasher wasn't working great so before I went and bought a new one I decided to see if I could fix this one myself. I watched a ton of youtube videos and I took the whole thing apart, but it works great now!

Tim and I went to the Lion King at the Fox Theatre this month! He gave me the tickets for Christmas. It was a wonderful show!

We had some more snow this month! It wasn't a ton, but it was very icy for a few days. Definitely different for these parts!

Eden and Everly are learning to write their names in school!
Here are just a few more random pictures from this month. Next month Tim and I are going on vacation. This is the first real, kid free vacation we have taken since our honeymoon almost 10 years ago. We are super excited!
