August 2018

While most places think of August as the last month of summer Ellasen went back to school August 2nd! She had an amazing first week and loves being a 3rd grader. I can't believe how grown up she is!
NOT ready to get up early that first morning!

Special breakfast

Bus stop friends

Ellasen and I went to the Taylor Swift Concert this month! We had the best time! We went with friends and even spent the night at the Ritz in Atlanta. It was a great little girls' getaway!

While we were at the concert Tim took the twins to the zoo. He took one picture. One. Here it is.

The girls all started tennis lessons in the neighborhood this month. Ellasen has taken lessons before and decided she didn't love it, but now that she has some neighborhood friends and her sisters with her she seems to like it much more!

We had some visitors this month too! Eva and her mom Rebecca came to stay with us while they looked at some colleges in the area. The girls had so much fun together and Tim and I got to take them to Athens to visit UGA. We had so much fun showing them around! We took a picture in front of the Victory Bell ( even though you can't really see the bell itself) because that is where we got engaged!

We took an awesome hike as a family this month to Tallulah Falls. This was the longest hike we have done with the little girls and they did great! There were almost 400 stairs and about 2.5 miles of hiking. It was totally worth it for those views though.

I took the girls to meet up with Lizzy, Ivy and Cade at Fernbank Natural History Museum this month. Even though we only live an hour apart we don't see nearly enough of each other. The girls had a great time exploring and Lizzy and I had a great time catching up!

Eden graduated from Physical Therapy this month. We have mixed feelings about this because even though we are so proud of all that she has accomplished we are so sad to say goodbye to our wonderful physical therapist, Cathleen aka Bounce Bounce. She has been coming to our home every week for years and has become a good friend to all of us. We will miss our weekly visits, but we are so proud of Eden!

The girls started school at the end of this month. Their teacher is Ms. Tasha. They are going five mornings a week this year. We are so excited to see what this year brings for them.
Open House
They are upstairs in the big kid rooms now!

Eden was a little nervous

But she got right to work when she saw the toys

Everly at the reading center

Eden at the science center

She loved this center!

The girls are going to have a great year with Ms. Tasha!

Some cute extra pictures from this month.
