July 202

We started off this month celebrating the 4th of July. We had our parents over for a cookout and Tim bought some fireworks and sparklers. The girls made their own decorations since we couldn't really go out and get party supplies. They turned out great, and we had a wonderful day!

We also took our annual summer trip to Rosemary Beach this month. We weren't sure we were going to get to go due to the pandemic, but Rosemary Beach is in a county with almost no cases and since we were renting a house we figured we would be fairly safe. We had an amazing time and it was so great to get away from home for a while.

I think Gunner had a good trip!

Being Cute and Safe!

Being Safe and Cute!

Everly lost her other front tooth while we were at the beach!

All week the nannies were taking pictures of their meals and Everly wanted to do it too!

Our friends, the Laudermans, flew in from California for a visit. They moved away a few years ago and we have always kept in touch. We had a socially distanced lunch to catch up. It was so good to see them.

We have been seeing some friends here and there and the girs had a fun play date the other day with the Cook family. These kids miss their friends so it is nice to see people here and there.

Our neighbors dropped off some cute little gift bags for the girls with sweet notes. We are all doing what we can to get through this.

We went swimming the other day at papa's pool. There is never anyone there so we got the place to ourselves!

The girls drew out their dream house. They worked together to come up with this cool design. They are so creative some times!

All in all we have had a great summer. We haven't had swim team or summer camps, but we have had a good time as a family. We have two weeks left before school starts and while we don't know what that will look like exactly, we are looking forward to the change it will bring.
