Trip to Michigan

After we spent some time in NYC we flew back to Chicago and drove to my parents house in Grand Rapids. They were taking care of Ellasen for us while we were in NYC so we decided to spend the rest of our vacation with my family. Ellasen had a great time with my parents going to the zoo and the library, and while we were all together we had a family picnic, took walks and went to the Nature Center. It was too cold for the beach, but we had a great time anyway!

NYC

Tim and I took a trip to NYC to check out where we are going to be living in a year. We left Ellasen with my parents so we were able to get a TON accomplished. We covered a ton of ground walking and riding the subway for hours a day. We saw pretty much the whole island twice. We got to have dinner with friends each night that we were there, and we were even able to checkout a possible apartment and preschool.
