November 2018

We started out this month with some great fall like weather. The leaves were turning beautifully and the weather was just chilly enough to throw on a sweater.

I started out the month making it through the third round of playoffs with my tennis team! We made it all the way to city finals in Atlanta. We beat out 119K people for the chance to compete in the finals. We lost in the end, but we had a great season!

I also had some fun girls' nights this month. We celebrated my friend Heather's birthday in style and my monthly girls' night with friends from our old neighborhood was a blast as usual! (We didn't get a picture of the girls' night this month)

Ellasen got to go to a super cute birthday party for her friend Ellie this month. It was a "late over". The kids wore their pjs and did all the fun sleepover activities and then went home for the actual sleeping part.

Ellasen also got to go with our sweet friends and neighbors to the breakfast with dads event at school. Tim wasn't able to go, but our friends grabbed up Ellasen and included her in their morning. So sweet.

We have had a little renovation project going on for a while now, and I think it is finally finished! We took two closets and knocked down the wall in between to make a large pantry. We added a custom insert and some custom bi-fold barn doors and voila!

The twins had their special Thanksgiving recital and lunch at their school this month. It was so cute to watch them on stage!

Ellasen had her 9th birthday this month! Her party was amazing! It was at a place called Pinspirations. The theme was Neverland so pirates and fairies. My friend Robin made her this amazing cake and all the kiddos got to do two crafts. I think she had a great time!

A few days later we celebrated her actual birthday at home with brownies and presents!

Then it was onto Thanksgiving! It was just our family and my mom this year, but we made a beautiful meal I think! We had fun cooking all day and even more fun eating!

The weekend after Thanksgiving we always get our Christmas trees and get our house decorated for Christmas. We love having our house all aglow and this year was no different! We think it turned out pretty good!

And when we decorate for Christmas our elf, Jenny comes back! Here she is on night one by the kids' Christmas tree.

Here are a few more random pictures from the month.

We have a ton to look forward to next month as we close out another year for our family. Christmas obviously, but we also have a visit from Aunt Di, Eden and Everly's 5th birthdays to celebrate and a trip to Michigan for my grandparents' 75th wedding anniversary!
