September 2018

This was such a busy, fun month! We started out the month with a trip to the beach on Hilton Head Island for Labor Day weekend. We went with our friends, the Cooks, who have two little girls. Tim had to work all weekend and we were bummed he couldn't come down and join in the fun, but we had a great time! We played in the pool and the ocean, built sand castles on the beach, saw Gregg Russell sing in Harbor Town and roasted marshmallows.

When we got back from Hilton Head I had my monthly girls' night. We had a great time laughing and talking and sipping wine as always!

Tim got an exciting new toy this month...a new pickup truck! He got a Raptor and he absolutely loves it. The girls are always asking for truck rides and Tim happily obliges them.

The girls have had a few fun playdates this month with friends. We love having friends over to play!

Tim and I had a fun date night with friends this month! We grabbed some sushi and then played Top Golf. Always a good time!

We realized when we went to Hilton Head that while Ellasen knows how to ride a bike we didn't quite trust her enough to ride on all the surfaces and through traffic and turns and everything without worry so Tim has been practicing with her. She is doing great!

Ellasen had fall break from school at the end of this month. The kids had no idea we were doing anything for the break so we were able to pull off a big surprise! We went with our friends, the Hornsbys, on a Disney Cruise. It was a 4 night, 5 day cruise to the Bahamas. We went to Nassau and Castaway Cay. Absolutely everything was amazing! We spent every day playing and relaxing, meeting princesss and characters, eating fabulous food, watching incredible shows, and reconnecting as a family. It was amazing all the way around.

Tim and I have had a great time cheering on the DAWGS this month and we look forward to more games on our road to another SEC Championship. The kids are getting into the games too and we are loving having them cheer with us.

Next month we are excited to celebrate Halloween and have my brother and nephew come for a visit! We are also looking forward to some more fall weather...maybe...
