June 2020

We are starting to get a little bit back to normal around here. It is very interesting because as soon as our state started opening up cases began to rise. We are actually seeing more cases than ever now. We were able to do a few normal summer activities this month, but for the most part we have been staying home and away from people outside of our family.
Our neighborhood pool opened up with a ton of precautions so we were able to book a time to go. We had a great time doing something we once took for granted.

We have been enjoying time around the house with the dogs too! Gunner is finally warming up to Poppy and she is so happy about it!

My dad was able to take the girls fishing for the first time this summer! They caught some big ones!

We have been keeping busy around the house finding new games and activities to do. We've been doing workbooks in the mornings and playing outside in the afternoons. The girls are great at coming up ideas. Ellasen even decided to rearrange the twins' room and make it a surprise!

We also took our Father's Day trip to Hilton Head. It was by far the riskiest thing we have done during this pandemic, but I am so glad we went. We had such a great time!

We are planning another beach trip next month and I honestly can’t wait! We’re doing our best to lay low this summer and just spend time as a family, but the change of scenery will be nice!
