May is always one of my favorite months. The weather is usually still on the cooler side, but warm enough to swim and the afternoon thunderstorms haven't started yet. The kids wind down their school years and we get to celebrate the start of summer. My family does a great job of celebrating Mother's Day and Tim and I get to celebrate our anniversary too! I also have my annual girls' trip in May! Seriously this month is the best!
I got to go to Eden and Everly's school this month to celebrate Mother's Day. Their little celebration for me was just so sweet! Everly won the best reader award and Eden won the future teacher award.
After our Mother's day lunch at preschool I was off to Rosemary Beach with some of my favorite girls in the world. These awesome ladies are from my time in Minnesota while Tim was in residency. We get together for a few days every year no kids, no husbands and this was my year to plan it! We went to my all time favorite place in the world Rosemary Beach! We had an amazing time and I really hoped the girls loved it as much as I do.
After Rosemary Beach I got home just in time to celebrate Mother's Day with some amazing mom friends. Our husbands arranged for a car to take us to the spa at the Four Seasons in Buckhead and then out to an amazing brunch. Then we got home and celebrated with my mom, my mother-in-law and my sweet kiddos.
After we celebrated Mother's Day Eden needed to have another set of tubes put in her ears. She is still struggling with ear infections but we are hoping this will help.

These next few were taken after she figured out what she was there for! Yikes. She was super upset. They ended up giving her some meds to calm her down.
After Eden recovered from her tubes we got to celebrate the twins last day of school and graduation from preschool! I can't believe they will be off to kindergarten next year!

One week later it was time for Ellasen's end of the year party. My mom watched the twins so I got to go and celebrate with her!

Once school was out we started the busy season of swim team! The little girls are super excited to be "real piranhas" this year!
Our first meet was a huge success! The little girls swam in 3 events and Ellasen swam in 4.
We have had an awesome nest of baby birds this month. The girls have had so much fun watching them grow.
The girls have had some fun birthday parties this month. Ellasen had a pony party in a real barn and the twins had a fancy tea party!
We spend Memorial Day out on the lake. The girls had a blast tubing, swimming and driving the boat with my dad.

Next month will start with the girls' dance recital! We will be squarely into summer and loving every minute! We will also be going back to Rosemary Beach for our family summer vacation! We can't wait!
