December 2021

We started out the month getting excited about the holidays! We decorated our house, sent our Christmas cards, saw Santa Claus, took my mom to the Holidays Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and greeted Jennie, our very own elf from the North Pole!

Then it was time to celebrate some fabulous birthdays! My mom's was first.

Then it was time to celebrate the twins' birthday! We had a spa birthday bus come to the house. The girls had so much fun!

Then it was time to bake our famous holiday cookies! We love to make several different kinds of treats and take them to our neighbors before Christmas.

Tim and I also went to the SEC championship this month with some friends. Unfortunately, the outcome was not what we wanted for UGA, but we had fun anyway!

Ellasen had her holiday cotillion class this month. She got all dressed up for the event. She looked beautiful!

The twins had so much fun at their school holiday party this month! These are some of the pictures from that day.

Our neighborhood started a new tradition a few years ago of "gnoming your neighbors". We got "gnomed this year on the girls' birthday! So fun!

Pretty soon it was time for reindeer food, cookies and milk for Santa and "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

And then Santa came!!!

We had an amazing day celebrating with the whole family. We opened gifts and ate and talked all day.
After Christmas we had some new visitors! Jason, Elias and Melissa came to spend a few days with us. We had Italian Christmas, exchanged more gifts, spent time riding hoverboards, hiking, biking, and playing games!

Here are a few more random photos from the last month of 2021! We are super excited to see what 2022 has to bring for our family! We will be taking our crew to the slopes of  Vail next month, and we can't wait!
