We started this month with our summer trip! We went to Michigan to see family. We spent the first few days in my home town. We visited the beach in Grand Haven and a few little beach towns, we celebrated the 4th of July with a parade and fireworks show just like when I was a kid! After the 4th we headed up the coast of Michigan to see the Cherry Festival in Traverse City along with Grand Traverse Bay. Then it was up north to Mackinac Island which was just beautiful! We stayed at the famous Grand Hotel and had the absolute best time!
When we got home Eden and Everly had a sleepover birthday to attend. They had so much fun celebrating Olivia's 10th birthday!
We had a community service call this summer to clean up some of the signage around our neighborhood so we got together and did just that!
We had another horse show this month! Ellasen did great once again earning a Reserve Champion ribbon among many others!
The kids start school on August 3rd so Ellasen had an open house this month. She is in 4 advanced classes that count for school credit so we are excited to see how that all goes. She only let me snap one picture!
We finished out the month with a long-awaited Braves game for Harry Potter Night!
