We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July this year. We made some 4th of July cakes, a Griffith girl tradition. This year we also made some watermelon shaped rice crispie treats. They turned out so cute! We went to Eric and Melissa's neighborhood for a cul-de-sac cookout. We ate good food and watched cool fireworks.

We have been in the pool almost every day this summer. The girls are loving it!
Nana came for a surprise visit this month! She drove her convertible down and stayed a whole week! the kids loved it! She surprised Ellasen at quiet time.
While she was here we went to my friend Lizzy's daughter's first birthday. It was a unicorn luau and everyone had a blast.

We took the girls to the zoo one day while my mom was here. They loved it!
My mom has been wanting a tattoo for a while so we thought it might be a good time! It turned out very cute.

My mom left the girls hula hoops in her room to find after she had gone. They play with them every day!
The girls went to Vacation Bible Study this month. The twins were a little young for it, but Ellasen had a great time. There was a little performance and pizza dinner at the end of the week. Afterwards the kids got to do inflatable water slides.
It has been a great month, and school starts in just a few days! Summer is pretty much over here except for the heat. We are looking forward to Ellasen starting 1st grade and the twins starting preschool two mornings a week! Just a few more random cute ones!
