We had so much fun celebrating Ellasen's 8th birthday! She asked me to make the cake after our friend Robin (who usually makes her cake) couldn't do it. I explained to her that that isn't really my area, but I told her I would try. She sketched it out and I made it 3D. She loved it! I think it turned out pretty cute!
Her party was at a place called Catch Air. The place is totally crazy, but the kids love it! Ellasen had 17 guests, and I think they all had a lot of fun!
When we got home from the party we let her open all her gifts from her party guests. She loved EVERYTHING!
On her actual birthday she got to pick her favorite dinner and open all her gifts from family. We also sang Happy Birthday to her over a pan of chocolate covered brownies. So cute!
After Ellasen's birthday we headed to Augusta for Thanksgiving. We miss seeing Tim's Aunt Pat and Uncle Tom and all his cousins regularly since we moved away and we finally felt like the kids were old enough to make the trip. All the girls adored Mimi and Big Daddy and all their cousins. We had a lovely meal and a wonderful visit. Ellasen is such a cool kid. She instantly took to her older cousins, especially Reilly. We could tell she just adored her. Big Daddy also taught Ellasen a few card tricks which she loved and practiced for hours.

When we got back from Augusta it was time to get our home ready for Christmas. This is our first Christmas in our new house so we did things a little differently. We got two trees this year! One for the kids to decorate with all their special ornaments from school and family and one formal tree for our great room. Tim worked really hard on the outside lights, and I think they turned out great! Once we decorated for Christmas our elf, Jenny arrived with her Elf on the Shelf book. The girls are so excited to find her every morning.
Tim had an article published this month in the newspaper. It got a lot of attention! So proud of him!
Here are some more random pictures from this month. Such cuties we have! Hard to believe the next post will be the twins 4th birthday post!
In this month's edition of crazy sleepers we have Eden and Ellasen (notice her headband...)
Everly draws these amazing monsters! I love them so much!
