Then it was time to celebrate Tim's birthday. The girls and I made him a yummy cake and then he and I went to see Hamilton at the Fox Theatre. It was amazing!

We went to an amazing birthday party for our friend McKinley. It was a petting zoo! Eden especially loved the camel and the kangaroo!
Ellasen has also really loved swim team this year, and she has had a couple of amazing races including first place in the 100 IM (individual medley) which is 1 lap of each stroke for a total of 4 laps. That is really hard for an 8 year old! She also got first place in the 25 Fly which is considered the hardest stroke for kids.
Father's Day was next and we had so much fun celebrating Daddy! We did pancakes and eggs for breakfast and gave Tim a new Yeti cooler and some awesome golf balls. Then we sent him golfing with his friends. The other kids and moms came over to decorate goodie bags and posters so we could meet the golfers out on the hole behind our house. We filled them up with beers and waters and sent them on their way. Then we met them at the club for an early dinner after their round. After that we had ice cream sundaes at the Durrs. Tim said it was a great day!
All three girls started golf lessons at the club this month with some of the neighbors. They loved it!
We have been taking the girls out to play a few holes behind our house on Monday nights after dinner. The Durr's have been joining. It is such a great way to spend a summer night!
Ellasen has also started taking private swim lessons with one of her swim team coaches, Julia. She learned how to dive during her first lesson!
The twins had a week of camp this month and Ellasen stayed home with me. We took the time to do all kinds of fun things! We went to lunch at her favorite places, we hit up the local book resale shop to restock her bookshelf and we hit the craft store for a fun summer craft. We also put plans together to build a fairy garden. Ellasen came up with the ideas and we went to the hardware store to put her plan in motion. We also spoiled our lunch one day with an ice cream taste test at the Avalon. We shared an ice cream at all three ice cream shops and rated them on taste, topping choices, flavor options and presentation. So much fun!
I am seriously obsessed with the two robins' nests we have in our yard. One has three baby birds and is low enough for me to take pictures of them growing!
Here are some cute pictures from the month! We are super excited about our July because it includes a trip to the beach!!
