January is usually a pretty slow month around here. No one has a birthday and there aren't really any holidays besides New Year's. We have continued to have a lot of work done around the house and we are really starting to see some things come together!
Of course, we started the month with our New Year's Eve celebration. We had friends over and for the first time ever the girls got to stay up until midnight! UGA played that night also so we watched the game and had tons of food! UGA won at the stroke of midnight so we didn't get to see the ball drop, but we put it on downstairs for the kids. It was a great night!
Work continued inside also with countertops going in.
We ran down to the beach house for a few days this month. The girls had a day off of school and it was Julie's birthday so we headed down there to celebrate her!
Toward the end of the month, we took the girls skiing in Telluride, CO. They had an amazing time and have gotten really good! They are all skiing double blues and doing little jumps. So cute!
We had a great start to the year! We are looking forward to my birthday next month and another quick trip to the beach house!
