We started this month heading to Isle of Palms for our spring break. It was just our family, and we had a great time just the 5 of us! The weather was a little chilly especially down by the ocean, but the girls made the most of the pools and shopping. We took a bike ride from our resort to downtown Isle of Palms and enjoyed a day in Charleston. We had a bit of car trouble on the way home that caused us to panic a little and rely on the kindness of strangers, but we made it home finally!
When we got home it was time to celebrate Easter!
We dyed eggs, make Easter cookies, had an egg hunt, and went to the club for a nice brunch.
The girls all attended a friend's birthday party this month at the ice skating rink. We have taken them a few times, but they are very new at skating so it was definitely an experience!
We are getting so close with the home pool and it finally feels like it is all coming together. We have furniture and countertops! The kids have started using the pool regularly and just love it!
We are hoping to be done with all the construction outside next month for sure! We can't wait!
I have my girls' trip in May and our 15th wedding anniversary to celebrate, plus the end of the school year and the start of the swim team!
