October started out pretty chill this year. We got home from our fall break trip out west and Eden was not feeling well. She stayed home for a few days from school and built a really cool robot!
We celebrated our friend Jen's birthday this month with an amazing farm-to-table dinner outside in a garden. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so cool!
Pretty soon it was time to kick off the Halloween festivities. That started with getting "boo'd" and then booing some of our neighbors! So fun!
Of course, we did our annual decorating for the house too!
I took the girls and their friends to the Taylor Swift Concert Movie on opening night. We're all big Swifties and we had sooooo much fun! Everyone dressed up and traded friendship bracelets just like we were at the concert!
We had a horse show this month too! Ellasen did really well, placing 1st or 2nd in every event she competed in.
After the horse show we did our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We did the corn maze, rode the hay ride, got faces painted and picked the perfect carving pumpkins!
We got school pictures back for these cuties this month!
We had a few days off of school this month so we took a quick girls' trip down to Disney World. We had the best time! We rode every ride and loved it all! We attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party and dressed up as the 7 Dwarfs from Snow White. We went to all four parks and walked over 30 miles in 2.5 days.
When we got back it was time to get ready for the Halloween Horse show at the barn. Ellasen was a cowgirl and Sanford was a cow!
Then it was time to carve pumpkins! The girls each did totally different designs and they turned out great!
Then it was time to get our costumes on and go to the Durr's Halloween party and out to trick or treat! We were the cast of the Barbie Movie this year! Tim was Cowboy Ken, I was Cowgirl Barbie, Eden was "Stereotypical" Barbie, Everly was Roller Blade Barbie and Ellasen was Party Barbie.
Finally, it was time for trick or treating!
We have had a great fall so far and we are looking forward to celebrating some birthdays next month!
