The Griffith Family Blog: 2025

These two amazing kiddos are 12 today! We are so proud of the people they are becoming and we can't wait to see what this next year brings to them! They both still play tennis, but Everly definitely likes it better than Eden. Eden started a dance class this year which she really enjoys. Eden and Everly both joined the middle school chorus and they are really loving it! They have always loved to sing and perform so this is right up their alley. Everly struggled with middle school at first and the larger workload that came with all advanced classes, but she seems to be hitting her stride now. She is such a hard worker and often is the first one up in the house studying early in the morning. Eden has adapted to middle school like a fish to water being her little social butterfly self. Both girls are getting into skincare and makeup more and more so that has been so fun! The girls got their own bedrooms for the first time this year so we were interested to see how that would change their relationship, but they seem to be growing closer after getting some space of their own. Eden has finally found a love of reading and we are so glad to welcome her into this family of readers! Eden is still struggling to put on weight and still has some pretty serious food avoidance and texture issues as well as hyper-fixation foods. She is working through that with a wonderful therapist. We would love for her to experience the world through food, but it just might not be in the cards for her. The girls are loving their teachers and their classes this year and are really blossoming in middle school. They are silly, kind, funny and magnetic. We are so lucky they are ours!

We started this month with the most awesome photo shoot for Ellasen. I was gifted this by my friend Heather and it was the coolest experience! Ellasen got to pick out three outfits and we did the photo shoot at the barn with Sanford!

We got the pictures back on her 16th birthday so that was such an amazing surprise! They turned out amazing!

My cousin, Kelly and her husband Sonny came to town for a night to stay with us on their way to Florida. We had a great time catching up with them at brunch!

Ellasen, Julie, Chloe and I all went to NYC to celebrate her 16th birthday! We had the most amazing time! We saw Six the musical and the Rockettes. We ran around the whole city for three days having just the most epic girls' weekend adventure!

While we were in NYC Tim and Jeff took the other kids to UGA for a football game and the Dawg Walk!

After NYC we celebrated Ellasen's birthday with the family. She picked her favorite dinner(Chicken Roll-Ups) and the cake was a strawberry lemonade cake that I make that she loves!
