The Griffith Family Blog: 2025

This girl turned 16 years old today! We honestly can't believe how awesome she is! She is kind and funny and so smart! She is beautiful inside and out. Ellasen is still riding her horse, Sanford 5 times a week. She is in mostly honors classes and is taking two AP classes. The only class she has on grade level is ELA. She loves school, but is definitely finding her schedule challenging this year especially AP World History. She has been doing work with HOSA as well as Doctors without Boarders through her school. She is taking Spanish 3 and is teaching herself French. She still loves to read and sleep. Ellasen has a pretty serious boyfriend, Andrew, who we adore. He spends a lot of time with our family and is a really nice guy. Ellasen has been working on learning to drive, but is a little timid about parking and getting on the highway. She is not getting her license this birthday, but we are hoping with a little more practice she'll be ready! Ellasen opted for a trip to NYC for her birthday instead of a sweet sixteen party. We are going with her best friend, Chloe and her mom (my best friend Julie) We can't wait!

We are so proud of this girl and all her grace and poise and passion. We can't wait to see what this year brings her and we are hoping for all good things!

We started off October with another UGA football game! This time we brought some friends!

That same day was Lambert High School's Homecoming dance. Ellasen went with her friend Andrew and she looked amazing!

I hosted a tennis team for the Northside Tennis Against Breast Cancer event this year. We had an amazing time and raised a lot of money for a great cause! This was our raffle basket.

We took the dogs to the pumpkin patch this month!

Tim went a concert this month with some buddies in Nashville!

The girls had fun this month with their sports! Eden and Everly playing tennis and Eden with flag football!

We took a super fun trip to Orlando to go to Disney and Universal Studios! The girls had a couple days off of school so we took advantage!

Then it was time for Halloween! We had a great time dressing up as Super Mario Brothers!

The twins had their first Chorus concert this month! They did a great job and sounded beautiful!

Tim and I went to a wedding where the dress code was all black! We didn't take a ton of pictures, but we had a great time!

A neighboring town had a Gilmore Girls festival this month. We are huge Gilmore Girls fans so we attended. The festival was so packed and a lot of the items had run out so unfortunately it was a bust, but we got a few cute pictures!
