The Griffith Family Blog

Our month started with a trip to Aruba for fall break. We went with our friends the Cooks and we had an amazing time! We explored caves, got fish pedicures, saw the natural pool and enjoyed some great time with family and friends.

Shortly after we got back from Aruba the girls and my mom and I took another trip up to Michigan to visit family. We got some great time in with Gigi and Gramps and Uncle Jason and Elias and all our aunts, uncles and cousins.We carved pumpkins, visited the apple orchard and the children's museum, made smores and watched sunsets.

In between our two trips this month we have been getting ready for Halloween. We visited our favorite pumpkin patch with friends and carved pumpkins with Papa.

The kids have been busy with school this month too! Here are their school pictures for this year.

Here are some pictures of what they have all been up to during their school days. I am so thankful for teachers who take the time to snap pictures!

We had another beautiful sunset at the club during dinner this month and a friend snapped this perfect picture of my girls! They put their arms around each other right after this picture was taken, but then they caught us all looking and separated before we could take a picture.

We were so excited to celebrate Halloween this year! The girls were Ice Cream Cones and Tim and I were "Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe" workers. We even decked out our golf cart!

It was so cold, but the kids had fun anyway! Next month we have some more fun things planned including Thanksgiving, a special girl turns double digits and a few plays at the Fox Theatre.

We started this month with an amazing trip to Hilton Head with friends to celebrate Labor Day weekend. The weather was iffy as there was a hurricane heading our way. We almost decided not to go, but in the end we were glad we did! We had a little rain, but we got most of our activities in. We were evacuated a day early though.

These two cuties started playing tennis with their big sister this month! We were hoping for some cooler weather, but no such luck yet!

I took a bunch of the neighborhood kids out for walk to school day! They did awesome!

Tim and I got to go to the UGA vs Notre Dame game in Athens with a bunch of friends. It was so fun to be back in Athens, back in Sanford Stadium and even better we got a huge Dawgs Win!
