Ellasen is 6!

Ellasen is 6 years old today! She is 6 going on 16. She is so grown up sometimes it makes me cringe a little at how quickly the time is flying by us. Ellasen is funny, sweet, kind, helpful, smart and sassy. She loves her sisters and spending time with her family. She is so creative, and she will often think of new and fun ways to play with us and the twins. She makes up games all the time. She always wants to "make a deal", attempting to trade 15 minutes of watching the twins for getting to stay up 15 minutes later or trading 3 more bites of dinner for 3 chocolate chips. She can be goofy one minute and serious the next. This year she is having a rainbow themed birthday at a trampoline park called Get Air. We are all super excited to celebrate this sweet little pea!

Monthly Update October

Tim and I started off October by taking a little trip just the two of us! He had a conference on Sea Island which is about 5 hours away. My aunt and her friend watched our girls and Tim and I got three nights away together! The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to go to any of the many pools at the resort, but we managed to do almost everything else! We golfed, we played tennis, we spent and afternoon at the spa and we enjoyed many amazing meals.

We ate at Georgia's only 5 Star restaurant. We got all dressed up and had an amazing time! We forgot to take a picture until we were back in the room though!
While we were gone Aunt Di and Ms. Bobbi had a great time with the girls! They were a little too busy to take many pictures, but I had a sitter come one day to watch the twins so that they could take Ellasen for a special big girl day. They got their nails done, went out to lunch and painted pottery!

When we got back from our trip we took everyone to visit the pumpkin patch. We had a great time picking out pumpkins, feeding farm animals, riding the tractor, taking a hayride and feeding catfish!

I also took advantage of the extra hands to go get everyone a flu shot.

Tim and I had tickets to a Falcons game this month too! We love to go to sporting events together, and this was a super fun date day!

My gym hosted a Halloween party right next door at our neighborhood clubhouse. I thought it would be a good time to do a dry run of Ellasen's costume before trick-or-treating. I didn't have a costume so I threw one together last minute! I was Olaf from Frozen. Ellasen is a woodland fairy. I'll have to get some better pictures of her costume before trick-or-treating.

Gunner got a new bed this month. He still likes our bed better...

The rest of our month has been spent dressing up, taking selfies, being silly, cheering on the DAWGS and cuddling on the couch.

This picture has my whole heart in it!

Ellasen had crazy hair day at school. Here she is with all her bus stop friends.

We carved pumpkin together as a family! Ellasen and Everly loved scooping the guts out, but Eden wanted nothing to do with it. We had a great time and the pumpkins turned out great!

Tim's pumpkin is scary!

A friend of mine in our neighborhood hosts a ladies martini night every year around this time. I love the girls in our neighborhood!

We had a great time on Halloween! Ellasen is a woodland fairy and she asked for Eden and Everly to be her woodland creatures. I think they all turned out really cute! Eden is a fox and Everly is a bunny!

We went to our neighborhood Halloween party and then took the kids trick-or-treating. Ellasen was in heaven of course, and Everly did so great! Eden did a few houses with us, but she got tired and overwhelmed pretty quickly. Tim took her home where she was happy to help him pass out candy. Everly and Ellasen trick or treated for a long time! Everly walked every sidewalk, climbed every step and said trick-or-treat and thank you at every house. She loved it! I was so surprised. I thought she would make it a little longer than Eden, but not much! She would have done the whole neighborhood! She was such a trooper!
Heading out to our first house!

These two...finishing strong!

Ellasen and Tim headed to an after hours party in the neighborhood, and I just got this picture of her and all her friends having a pizza picnic. So fun!

October has been so much fun, and November is shaping up to be quite busy already! My parents will be here for almost two weeks over Thanksgiving, and Ellasen is turning 6!
