Spring!

It was a nice spring afternoon on Saturday so our little family spent some time outside on the deck. Even Hunter joined us for a little while, but I didn't get a picture with him in it.

5 Months!

At 5 Months Ellasen

* Can take 5-7 oz of formula at a feeding
* Weighs 11 lbs 14 oz
* Can laugh
* Has tried rice cereal - not a fan
* Can roll over from her tummy to her back and sometimes from her back to her tummy
* Is very busy all the time
* Tries to "catch" her tongue with her fingers
* Has figured out where her feet are
* Is still wearing some newborn clothes. some 0-3 month clothes, and very few 3-6 month
clothes
* Is still wearing size 1 diapers
* Is still sleeping on her back and swaddled


Loves

* To read books and "helps" turn the pages
* To try out new noises
* To touch my face and hair
* To kick and hit toys that make noise
* Music - anything and everything!
* To ride in the car and "talk" or "sing"
* To go on walks/sleep on walks
* Playing in her bouncy
* TV...can't seem to break that one!
* New adventures

Doesn't Like

* Strangers - if Mom or Dad is right there it seems to be fine
* Being overly tired
* Not feeling well
* Rice cereal
* People sniffing ( like if they have a cold...weird, but true)
* Being woken up

Rolling Over!

I realize she hits her head a little bit on the toy, but she is fine, and I have been trying to capture the roll over for a while now!

"Aunt" Nicole

Aunt Nicole came for a visit this past weekend! Ella just loved her to pieces, and it was so good to see her! We had so much fun, we forgot to take a lot of pictures. Here are the ones we managed to get!

Titan and Ella

Titan has been having muscle spasms lately and I took him to the vet last Friday. He was put on some medication and he is on strict rest for the next few weeks, but he is doing okay. After I picked him up from the vet after work I had to go pick up Ella from daycare. Titan curled up in the backseat with his head on Ella's car seat. The base of the car seat was there the whole ride, but he didn't lay down like this until after I put Ella in the car. If you look in the mirror at Ella she is asleep. So cute!

Rice Cereal

Ellasen has been waking up in the night to take a bottle a couple of nights in a row now and so Tim and I decided it might be time to try rice cereal with her last bottle before bed. She did pretty good....check it out!

New Hat!

Happy Easter!

I had the flu so we didn't get to go to church, but we managed to get Ellasen into her Easter dress to let her open her Easter basket and gifts from the Grandparents!
