It is that time again! Time for the 6 month post! Ellasen is 3 1/2 years old! Hard to believe that we are already writing this entry. Time is still flying by for us. Ellasen is much more of a kid these days than a toddler. She knows exactly what she wants to do and how she wants to do it. She can pretty much do anything you ask her to do. She has tons of energy, but she can sit for long periods of time to read books or do art projects. She reminds us regularly that she is not a baby any more! She continues to amaze us with how verbal she is. We often have conversations that leave us shaking our heads in disbelief. She definitely has a routine she likes, and she gets frustrated when she can't do something by herself, but she is also weirdly easy going. She transitions very well with big events. We sold our house recently and moved into an apartment, and she never missed a beat, sleeping through the night right away. I think part of the reason she can be flexible is because she really understands what is happening for the most part. If we just take the time to explain things to her she will generally go with the flow. We absolutely love being her mommy and daddy, and we thank God every day that she belongs to us!
