We have had a great October! We have been really just going about our lives enjoying the cooler weather before life gets crazy with birthdays and Christmas. We have done some painting...
The twins have been enjoying school. They learned all about "circles" this month so we got to have a "Circle Party" to celebrate. The parents were invited, and we brought lots of circle foods to enjoy.
Ellasen had her 1st Grade Fall Performance this month! It was a concert all about pets and animals. Super cute!
We visited our favorite pumpkin patch, Kinsey Family Farm, with some friends. The views were beautiful and we took home two wagons of pumpkins!
We also carved pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns! Ellasen had a great time and did most of the work herself! The twins each painted a little pumpkin.
Even Gunner got in on the pumpkin action! He loved eating all the pumpkin pieces we cut up for him!
Finished product!
Ellasen's teacher is great about posting pictures of what's going on in her classroom. It is so much fun to know what she is up to from time to time! Here she is working on subtraction with Cheerios.
She also got to take the class pet home for a weekend. Blue Skittle is a little stuffed monster. She had to take pictures of what Blue Skittle did with our family over the weekend and journal about our adventures. Here Blue Skittle is enjoying a sled ride with Ellasen from one of the trainers at my gym. Ellasen feels right at home at the gym, and all the trainers just love her so it was easy to convince them to give her a ride.
Grandma sent us some Halloween stencils and window markers so Blue Skittle got to hang out with us for that fun too!
Blue Skittle also got to enjoy some Play Doh time...
Tim and I took in a Falcons game this month. We lost in overtime, but we had a lot of fun!
Ellasen's school has Red Ribbon Week this month to help spread the word that drugs aren't cool. She got to dress up all week! This one was "Dress Like a Genius" (because drugs aren't smart). Isn't she cute in glasses! Her buttons say "I Love Reading!"
Tim was the team doctor for the Kelloggs Tour of Gymnastics Champions this month. Ellasen and I got tickets right in the middle of the action! The pictures don't do it justice. It was such a cool experience. All the famous Olympians from the Rio games were there and so was Shawn Johnson! Ellasen was in awe.
Story Time at the library was a little trick or treat costume parade on the last Tuesday of the month. Eden is Elsa and Everly is Ana (Both from Frozen).
The twins also had a costume parade at school. They were super cute!
We had a Halloween party at our clubhouse and went trick or treating after. The girls had a great time, and they got tons of candy! I made their costumes again this year, and I think they turned out pretty cute! Ellasen is Ariel, the Little Mermaid, Eden is Elsa from Frozen and Everly is Anna from Frozen.
Here are some random photos from the month!

We bought a house! If all goes as planned we are moving in at the end of January! |
I have been trying to take some more videos of the girls just talking and playing. I took tons of videos of Ellasen when she was little, and I haven't been as good about that with the twins because...well...second (and third) child and you know...twins! But I am going to make an effort from here on out. There really isn't anything amazing in any of these videos just talking and playing...
