Eden and Everly are 4!

Eden and Everly are 4 years old! It is always hard to believe how fast they are growing up, but 4 seems like it really snuck up on us. The girls have had a year full of changes. We moved into a new house, they potty trained and they started going to school 3 mornings a week. They started dance lessons and they are learning a ton in their swimming lessons. We took some great trips this year that the girls loved! We took the most amazing trip to Disney World the year where the girls got to meet ALL the princesses and characters they love so much. We also took a trip to the beach and found out they love the sand and the ocean just like their mommy and big sister. Both girls still love Frozen, Minnie Mouse and Doc McStuffins. They have recently started liking another Disney show called "Vampirina". Both girls still love to color and draw, and they learned to draw people this year as well as write many of their numbers and letters.

Eden is still happy and sweet most of the time! She is pretty much in charge all the time. She likes to play with her sisters and Gunner. She loves to sing and dance, and she will spend a lot of time coloring or painting. She is still a picky eater with some sensory issues, but she is willing to try new things here and there. She is eating chicken and blueberries regularly now! She also loves strawberries, apples, bananas, granola bars, turkey sausage, pasta, mac and cheese, peanut butter, toast, muffins, donuts, yogurt and milk. Eden still does physical therapy once a week, and she is getting stronger and stronger all the time. She loves to ride this little wiggle bike she has and she is so good at it. She has developed a little stutter where her brain goes faster than her mouth, but we are told it is normal and common, and that she'll grow out of it soon. She has the best belly laugh ever and she thinks it is so funny when mommy acts silly. She loves to snuggle up and watch movies or read. We are so thankful for who she is and that she belongs to us! Eden weighs 31.5 lbs and is just over 40 tall.

Everly still has two personalities most of the time. She is so sweet and loving unless she is hungry or tired then her temper flares up. She loves to play with Ellasen and copies everything she does. She loves to look at books and pretends to read them aloud to anyone who will listen. She is a great eater and enjoys all kinds of food. She loves to try new foods and will often ask for a bite of whatever I am eating. Her favorite foods are chicken nuggets, turkey sausage, cheese, strawberries, lunch meat, steak, pork, peppers, cinnamon rolls, applesauce, pasta, cheeseburgers, pizza, salami, pineapple and rice. Everly is very strong and solid, but she likes to be good at things on the first try which leads her to give up easily sometimes. She is a very fast runner and enjoys racing her sisters. She also loves running up to the bus stop every afternoon to get Ellasen off the bus. She has a wonderful imagination and often makes up stories. When she laughs she loses all her breath so it's like this sort of silent laughter. She laughs the hardest when she is being tickled. Even when she is mad or starting to throw a fit I can usually get her to laugh if I tickle her! She loves to help me in the kitchen and hates being called a baby. She reminds me often to stop and just play or snuggle so I love that she helps me be a better mom. Everly weighs 36lbs and is just over 41 inches tall.

These two make life better in every way! We can't believe they are 4 years old today. Seeing life through their eyes is so much fun, and as they get older and easier we get to enjoy more and more experiences as a family.  We look forward to everything the next year brings these sweet girls!
