April 2022

We started out the month with the most epic trip to Hawaii ever! We went to the island of Oahu. We landed in Honolulu and spent the first three days in Waikiki. It is a bustling city with really cool shopping and restaurants as well as a beautiful beach. We did a whale-watching boat trip (we only saw a sea turtle), an ATV tour through Kuala Valley (where they shot Jurassic Park), went to a farmer's market for some authentic Hawian flavors, got a great look at Diamond Head and visited Pearl Harbor.

Then it was time to move on to the North Shore of Oahu. The North Shore is much less crowded and much more rural. It was seriously so beautiful! The girls rode horses on the beach, we saw a surfing dog, took lei making and hula lessons, went to a luau, and hiked to Waimea Falls. We even swam out to the falls! It was freezing, but so fun!

When we got home it was  time to celebrate Easter! The girls had a great time dying eggs and opening their baskets in the morning. We had the rest of the family over for Easter brunch and watched Hop which is our Easter tradition.

We started work on our house this month and things moved fast! I didn't even get an official "Before" photo! Here's some progress photos.

We got tickets to the Braves game this month for Landon's birthday. We had a great time! The girls even got to run the bases at the end of the game.

We went to the Hornsby's to see their new adorable puppy, Bruce! He's seriously the cutest!

Tim got his World Series Ring this month! It is beautiful and very representative of baseball history in Atlanta.

We bought a horse! He's a Belgian Warm Blood and he's beautiful! He gets here tomorrow and we can't wait to meet him!

Here are a few more cute, random pictures from the month! Next month I have my girls' trip to Santa Fe and I am sure there will be big progress on the house and tons of cute Horse pictures!
