Eden and Everly turn 9 today! I can't believe what little people they are becoming. They each have very distinct personalities that come out stronger every year. They are still just as different as ever, but they love each other so much it is really fun to watch their relationship grow. They are in separate classrooms this year, and I think it has really helped them enjoy each other more than ever. They are also in different activities now. They still both ride horses and play tennis and do swim team, but Eden is taking gymnastics again (and loving it) and Everly recently took up volleyball. Having some time to miss each other has really strengthened their friendship. They both love to read and draw/color. They both adore Ellasen and Poppy and Gunner. They love their family and friends and are both such cool fun kiddos!
At 9 years old Eden is strong and active. She loves to work hard to achieve her goals. Whether that is a cartwheel or a craft project, she will work on things repeatedly for a long time. She loves school and her teacher. She has a lot of friends and meets new people wherever she goes. Out of the two, Eden is the one who gets embarrassed the easiest and she can be self-conscious and shy at times. With people, she knows and trusts she is her goofy self all the time though. She regularly checks out horse books for Ellasen from the elementary school library. She is so thoughtful and caring and honestly just always wants everyone to be happy and get along all the time. Eden loves to be in charge and enjoys playing games where she gets to be in charge of the rules. She still hates to eat and is probably pickier than ever before. We have tried everything and at this point, we think she might just not "grow out of it" like they always said she would. Eden is a sweet, funny lovable kid who cares about everyone. We are lucky to have her! At 9 years old Eden weighs 45 lbs and is 4 ft 4 inches tall.
At 9 years old Everly is sweet and stoic. She is the strong but silent type rarely showing a tong of emotions. She is very tough and doesn't let much get to her. Everly loves school and her teachers. She makes friends easily and people naturally really like her. She can be a little quiet, but she doesn't miss anything. She loves to show me her schoolwork and tell me about her day. Reading is one of her favorite pass times and she loves to do anything related to art. Everly loves food. She loves to cook and bake as well as eat! She will try pretty much anything at least once. She is fun and easy to be around most of the time. Everly still has a bit of a thyroid issue that we are monitoring closely. She takes medicine for that every morning. Everly loves to do her hair and makeup and change out her earrings and her outfits. She loves to dress up and wearing a little heel makes her feel beautiful. Everly loves hot chocolate and watching movies with the family. She is sweet and so loveable. We are so thankful for her every day. At 9 Everly weighs 63 lbs and is 4ft 7 inches tall.
