Well, we are in the home stretch of the school year, and I honestly think this time of year might be busier than December. We have end of year parties to plan, teacher and bus driver gifts to arrange, field days, recitals, awards ceremonies and performances.
The little girls have started their USTA tennis team. They are having a great time learning how to play the actual game after years of lessons.
We had a great time celebrating Mother's Day this year. Carol was in town and so Tim arranged a brunch for all of us with the girls!
The husbands also arranged a girls' night out for us on Saturday night. We went to the Select in Sandy Springs which I have been dying to go to!
The girls had to have an indoor field day this year due to some suspected bad weather, but I got to volunteer and we had the best time!
The 3rd grade does a Market Day every year where the kids bring an item they make to "sell". They market the item with a poster display and set the price. Eden made headbands and Everly made bookmarks with original art on them.
The house renovations are coming along! We actually get a break for a while at the end of this month! They outdoor construction is over for now and we have until July before the indoor renovations pick back up. We love how the pool and pool house turned out!
I had my annual girls' trip the month with the girls from residency. This year we are going to Scottsdale which I love!
Tim picked me up from the airport after my girls' trip and we headed to Lake Oconee to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary!
When I got back it was time to start celebrating the end of the school year for the kids! I got to attend the twins' end-of-year parties and we had our famous last-day-of-school water balloon fight!
We had some fun kick-off to summer sleepovers, and we are looking forward to all the fun of next month including swim meets, summer camps, birthday celebrations, and a trip to the beach house!
