December 2023

I started this month with an awesome girls' night out with my friends. We had an amazing time drinking and talking and sharing great food. It was just the thing we all needed to carry all of us busy moms through this holiday season.

We did a bunch of fun holiday events this month. We took my mom to a Santa brunch at our golf club. We decorated cookies and had a wonderful brunch all together!

We took my dad and mother-in-law to downtown Dahlonega. We had a great meal, saw beautiful lights, bought fudge and did some shopping!

We took an amazing trolly ride through even more holiday lights with our friends the Durrs.

We attended The Christmas Spectacular at Atlanta Athletic Club. The event was Grinch themed and we had so much fun!

We took my mom and mother-in-law to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see the Holiday Lights. They get better and better every year!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Brunch at the club and Mrs. Claus even read the kids a story.

Tim and I hosted his team for our annual holiday party this month. We think everyone had a great time!

Everly had her first real volleyball tournaments this month! We really enjoyed seeing her play.

My mom had a big birthday this month and my aunt flew down to surprise her! We went to Chateau Elan for a night and enjoyed the spa and a wonderful dinner. My mom also became a member in her new church so my aunt and I got to go see that ceremony. We had a great weekend!

The twins celebrated their birthday this month with an epic Winter Wonderland themed sleepover! They had an amazing time with great friends!

We celebrated with the family on the girls' actual birthday with a family dinner at home!

I got to go to the twins' holiday celebrations at school which happened to be on their birthday! We had so much fun playing holiday games!

Our elf Jennie had a good time this year with all her shenanigans!

We had an amazing Christmas full of all of our favorite traditions. We baked cookies, threw out reindeer food, read Twas the Night Before Christmas, ate cinnamon rolls and opened stockings. It was a wonderful holiday!

I didn't get a picture of the grownups, but the kids had a great time celebrating New Year's Eve with Nana!

Here are a few random cute pictures from this month.
