Apple Pie

The girls had MEA break today. For those of you who aren't from MN this is a two day break from school! Since we had gone to the orchard the weekend before I decided that we should make some apple pies from scratch while they were here for the day. So that is what we did. I even managed to get in some math on their day off because we made two pies and had to double the recipe! Anyway, we think we put a little too much filling in because we lost some of the crust, but over all we think they turned out good. We are letting them cool now, but we will try a piece soon. I really wish this could be a scratch and sniff blog entry because the house currently smells amazing!
