Well, what can I say about the last year!? Having a toddler is fun, scary, silly, messy, sticky and amazing all at the same time. We seriously have the most lovable, hugable little bug that ever lived. She still makes us laugh all the time. She is so smart our mouths drop almost daily. She makes my whole day happy and good...most of the time! I know we are headed into the terrible two's, but I think we are ready...as ready as two first timers can be. We have a discipline system: timeouts followed by an apology for the behavior and a kiss and a hug. It will be a challenge, but we can't wait to see what the next year holds. We are so blessed to have Miss Ellasen Laine in our lives. She is her own person already in so many ways. She has opinions and ideas and thoughts all her own. We have just had the best time watching her grow and change! Here's to another year under our belts and with full and happy hearts we say onward young dreamer! We are watching with breath that is bated to see what the next year brings.

*Says "Oh My Gosh" regularly
*Says "Yes, mam" regularly
*Can pretty much tell us anything she wants or needs
*Is BOSSY! We are working on it!
*Gives the best hugs in the WORLD!
*Sidebar* This will be my last monthly post for a while. I will do one at 2.5 years old and again at 3. But keep checking the blog because I will continue to post about our daily lives with photos and short explanations!
