We are still trying to cram in lots of adventures before the weather changes. Tim doesn't get much time off so we try to make the most of the days/hours we do get together! FAO Schwarz was a must do on our list so we tackled that recently. Of course this is an iconic toy store from its 5th Avenue location to the giant floor piano from the movie BIG. Ellasen was in heaven, and it was pretty fun for us too!

We also wanted to do the Plaza Hotel, and since it is directly across the street from FAO Schwartz we headed that direction next. It wasn't the nicest day and my phone was dying so I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked. There is an amazing food "court" in the Plaza that includes tons of gourmet eats. We didn't eat there, but we walked around. Tons of chocolate and pastry shops and the macaroons you see in the movies. It was beautiful!

This past week we met some friends at Alice's Tea Cup for "tea". It is a cute little Alice in Wonderland themed tea place geared towards kids. Yummy food, apple juice out of tea cups and fairy wings for all the little girls (or boys) to wear!
We also took some time out to visit the Central Park Zoo. This zoo is pretty small compared to many zoos we have been to, but it is the perfect size for an almost 4 year old and a mom who is 7 months pregnant with twins! The coolest thing about this zoo is that it is nestled right in the middle of the city! We got there right in time for the sea lion feeding!

The cool balloon man just outside the zoo. He made Ellasen a princess wand!

Not everything we do is an epic adventure though! Here are some pictures from our daily life!
In twins news I am just over 28 weeks now and feeling good. The girls are doing great! Twin A is 2 lbs 6 oz and Twin B is 2 lbs 8 oz. Both have great fluid levels and are right on track with their growth. I had my one hour glucose test last week, and since I haven't heard anything I think I passed! We are feeling really good about how things are going, and we have been getting lots of reassurance from the doctors that labor is not imminent. We finally feel like we can start to get the house ready a little. We got out the baby clothes and we have started to rearrange the room to fit a crib. We have registered (mostly just to keep a list going since second (and third :) ) babies don't usually come with a shower ) and bought a stroller. Here I am at 27 weeks!

You look great! I'm jealous of all the great places you get to eat! And, those sayings by Ellasen were HILARIOUS. Thank you for a good chuckle :)
