Monthly Update February '17

We have had a busy month getting settled in to our new house and our new routine! It has been a little bit chaotic, but everyone is doing really well for the most part. We had a huge accomplishment this month too. The twins are potty trained! We had a 5 day weekend with no school so I used that time to just stay home and work on it. Ellasen was a huge help, and we can safely say we accomplished out goal! We haven't had any accidents in a while, and we wear underwear all day every day!
Here is a look at a few other things we have been up to this month.

Ellasen and Tim went to the Daddy Daughter dance. They went with friends from our old neighborhood. They rented a limo to take them to and from the dance. The girls and the dads had a great time!

The little girls have been having fun at preschool. I got to help with the Valentine's party in their classroom. It was so much so cute!

Tim and I celebrated my birthday with a couples massage and a quiet dinner our together. It was perfect.

We had a lot  of fun cheering on the Atlanta Falcons at a Super Bowl party. Too bad they lost!

We celebrated Valentine's day with dinner and a movie! And a fun tutu for me!

I took Ellasen to watch our regular babysitter in high school prom fashion show! Ellasen had a great time cheering on Ms. Kenna and we supported the American Cancer Society while we attended!

Ellasen decided she wanted to start bringing her lunch from home every day. After a few quick instructions and guidelines for a healthy balance she is doing it all by herself! She feels very grown up!

We have a squirrel at our new house. He visits our deck multiple times a day. The girls love to watch him and have named him Sneaky.

Tim and I went to an Academy Awards party this month thrown by one of my friends at the gym. They go all out every year with a red carpet, photographers, champagne etc. Everyone gets all dressed up. It was so much fun and I thought we looked pretty great too!

We also celebrated Fat Tuesday and Marti Gras with a little bit of King Cake! My friend Abby gave me babies for each of the girls so no one felt left out, but Ellasen got the special baby in her piece so she will have good fortune all year!
We had already dug into this one when I remembered to snap a picture!

Other than that we have just been hanging out and having fun and settling in. We are looking forward to spring weather, but hoping our allergies stay away a little longer!

Checking out our new playground!

Movie night!

Opening her Baby Alive: her prize for being potty trained!

Yay! Everly got one too!

Everly enjoying a yummy doughnut from Sarah's Donuts
