April has flown by! We seriously don't know where this month has gone! Ellasen has had school, gymnastics, ballet and swim lessons. I have been hard at work in the gym and on the tennis court. I had a photo shoot this month for the gym. They are looking to revamp their marketing, and they wanted to include real people doing real workouts. Getting your picture taken while working out is definitely interesting! I made some funny faces. I managed to get my hands on some of them so I can document my progress. For tennis I have had drills and matches twice a week. My doubles league just ended and I will be playing in a singles league the first part of summer and another doubles league after that. I haven't played in a league since before the twins were born so it was great to get back out there! I love playing outdoors which was something I really missed in my Minnesota leagues. Tim has been really busy at work. He started taking care of the Atlanta Braves which has been adding to his work load. He has been trying to get out golfing here and there when he can. We usually shoot for a couple of date nights a month, but I think we only got one in during April. It was a pretty great one though! We got to go to game 5 of the playoffs between the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets. We were basically court side! We were on TV a ton, and we had so much fun! Eden and Everly are loving taking walks and learning new words! For all the good this month we have had our fair share of tough. My sweet grandma passed away this month after a long battle with dementia. She was a wonderful person and a huge part of my life growing up. She will be missed! We also had several rounds of the stomach flu over here this month which has been the least amount of fun ever. The only one to escape the plague was Eden. Tim got it twice! Overall though we are enjoying spring, and we are looking forward to summer! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to this April:

This is a terrible picture because the sun was so bright, but I thought the twins looked so cute in this cart! They are so grown up! |

My brother's family and mine sent a flower arrangement in memory of my beautiful Grandma. We are sure she would have liked it and hopeful that it brought comfort to those at the service. I couldn't make the trip, but I wanted to be there in spirit. We are so thankful for her life, and even more grateful that she is out of pain. She has been called home, and I just know my grandpa was there waiting for her to arrive. |
