Eden and Everly are 7 Years Old!

 

Wow, where has the time gone! These two super sweet kiddos are 7 years old today. It seems like yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital. They are whole people now with very little trace of "baby" left. They each have big personalities, opinions, and ideas. They are still polar opposites in a lot of ways. They are best friends most days even though they are very competitive with one another. They both love to learn and read. Frozen is still a favorite for both of them and they both love anything art related. Both girls love to play with makeup and jewelry but also love to get outside and ride their bikes or scooters. They love their dogs and they are both pretty much obsessed with their big sister. 

Eden is still a very picky eater. She has to really force herself to try new foods, but she does try sometimes. She is super active and energetic. She loves to be outside riding her bike and scooter or walking Poppy. She is independent in a lot of ways and somewhat of a risk taker. She is confident in her abilities. She would rather be outside than in school, but she really loves math and art. She loves music and dancing too. Eden is often found listening to music through her headphones singing and dancing like she is on stage. She will also sit as close as she can to the Alexa when we have music playing in the house. She loves to be with her family and has the biggest heart. She is funny and silly and her antics make us laugh every day!

Everly can be quiet and careful. She would probably rather be inside reading a good book or coloring than running around outside, but she does love to ride her bike. Everly loves art projects and school. She is a fabulous eater who will try almost anything. Everly likes to play board games and she is a big-time rule follower. She likes order and routine. She is more sensitive than either of her sisters and she can have a hard time recovering if her feelings have been hurt. Everly is protective of her family and loves to be near all of us. She has recently started chapter books and I know she feels very grown-up reading bigger books like Ellasen. Everly is kind and gentle and happy. She brings us so much joy with her smile!

This year has been a weird one. We missed many opportunities to further the girls love of dance, swimming and tennis. We are hoping to pick most of those up again when it is safe. We love these girls to the moon and back, and we are so thankful every day that they belong to us.
